New Delhi, Dec 7 (UNI) Five suspected terrorists were arrested after a brief encounter in Shakarpur area of East Delhi, Police official said on Monday.
Special Cell’s Higher Official said, five persons were held after an exchange of fire in the wee hours of Monday. Weapons and other incriminating material have also been recovered from their possession. Two belong to Punjab and three are from J&K.
They have alleged links to terror groups, but this is being investigated, the official added.
The further investigation is underway.
