Govt launches E-shop to 5 lakh tribal masters

New Delhi, Oct 2 (UNI) The Narendra Modi government in line with its Atmanirbhar policy on Friday launched a launched bigger E-commerce portal offering e-shops to five lakh tribal masters from across the country.
Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda launched the portal, saying the e-market place “is yet another initiative to transform tribal lives and livelihood. “
The initiative aims to on board producers for sourcing various handicrafts, handlooms, natural food produces across the country.
The e-market place also will “facilitate B2B trade to dependent on minor first produces and medicinal plants to larger buyers/manufacturers, ” said Pravir Krishna, managing director, TRIFED.
