Haryana Government has implemented a scheme under a Solar Home Lighting System.

Faridabad, additional Deputy Commissioner and Chief Project Officer of New and Renewable Energy Department Satbir Mann said that the Haryana Government has implemented a scheme to give Manoj Jyoti Solar Home Lighting System to the people on 70% subsidy. He said that under this scheme Solar Home System The price is 22500 rupees, on which the government will give a grant of 15000 rupees and the beneficiary will only have to submit a demand draft of Rs 7500 to the Additional Deputy Commissioner Office. He said that 150 watt solar panel, 80Ah battery, 25 watt DC solar fan and three LED lights have been provided under Manoj Jyoti Yojna, besides solar tubewells are also being provided to farmers.

He said that interested farmers can apply on the Haryana Government website, Saralharyana dot gov.in (www.saralharyana.gov.in) to get solar tube. He informed that the Haryana Department of New and Renewable Energy has Rs. 3,5,7. A scheme has been implemented to provide 75% grant to farmers on solar power tubes ranging from 5 to 10 HP.
