New Delhi, Oct 14 (UNI) India has given 21 ventilators to Guyana to fight the Covid-19 pandemic. Indian High Commissioner K J Srinivasa handed over these ventilators to Guyana’s Health Minister on Monday as part of one million US Dollar assistance by India to combat the Covid-19 outbreak, .

The assistance is aimed at improving health infrastructure and capacities in that country. In August India had extended one million US Dollar assistance to Antigua and Barbuda to fight the Corona virus.

The same one million US Dollar assistance has been offered to each Caribbean Community (CARICOM) country. CARICOM is a group of twenty developing countries in the Caribbean.
