Jaishankar, Blinken discuss bilateral ties, Indo-Pacific

New Delhi, Jan 4 : External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken held broad-ranging talks, covering bilateral issues, the Indo-Pacific and pressing global matters.

The two also exchanged New Year greetings.

EAM Jaishankar, tweeting about the telephonic talk, said:
“A broad ranging conversation yesterday night with @SecBlinken.

“Covered current bilateral issues, Indo-Pacific and pressing global matters. Also exchanged New Year greetings,” he posted.

The US Secretary of State had last spoken to EAM Jaishankar in December to convey condolences on the death of Gen Bipin Rawat, his wife and other army officials, in a chopper crash.
