Jammu, Jan 10: Around 2000 farmers with over 500 tractors reached here at Gajansoo from different villages of Marh constituency of Jammu district,Monday afternoon and held a rally throughout the constituency in support of the New Farm Laws which has recently being passed by the Modi led government at the centre.
The rally was held under the dynamic leadership of former minister,Ex Minister and ex-MLA Marh Sukhnandan Choudhary ,who is also the chairman of Panchyati Raj Cell of JKUT.
Farmers who arrived here from different villages of the Marh constituency are of the view that they have full faith in Modi led govt.at the centre and at the same time they regard their local leader Mr. Sukhnandan choudhary who always stands with them whatsoever the conditions may be.
They were quite confident that Modi ji can’t do anything against the farming community of the country.
On the occasion,when asked,Choudhary Sukhnandan asserted that when the Prime minister of India is ensuring MSP procurement to continue then why there is hue and cry against these laws.He also urge the farmers who are agitating on Delhi border to end this agitation as there is nothing against the farmers”,he added.
He also attacked Congress and other opposition parties for misleading the farming community on new Farm laws.He clearly said that provision of MSP is still there and opposition parties are be fooling the innocent farming community against these laws.He said that Hon’ble Prime minister of India is a real well wisher of the farmers of the country we have ever seen in last 70 years.
“Farmers of our Marh constituency are fully supporting these Farm bills and one can guess the same by witnessing the huge gathering of the farmers of Marh constituency along with their tractors,”he added.
He ,once again ,caution farming community not to fall prey in the hands of opposition parties and some vested intrested people who has left no stone unturned to loot the public money in last 70 years.
Sarpanches and panches of almost all the panchyats of Marh constituency also participated in todays rally.
Lastly,he said that in the interest of the farming community and common people at large ,all the like minded people should come out and strongly dispel the misinformation being spread out by politically motivated people.
