Medchal-Malakajigiri, Apr 20 (UNI) A major fire broke out in the plastic chairs manufacturing factory at Mallapur Industrial area in this district on Tuesday.
According to police, the fire started in the factory when the workers carried out some welding works. Chemical stored in the factory caught fire due to the sparks of welding and it later spread to the entire factory.
Thereafter, the fire also spread to a nearby chemical factory. On information, fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the flames. A thick smoke engulfed in the surrounding areas of the factories.
However, no one was injured in the fire accident and the loss of the property is yet to be ascertained, police
