Special judge Hamirpur has sentenced one Rajinder Kumar of Tounidevi area of the district to undergo life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 15,000 for raping minor, an official spokedman said on Thursday.
Following the complaint of the victim and her family, a case was registered with the women police station of Hamirpur on September 14, 2009 and thereafter proceedings started and finally the man was found guilty and the sentence was pronounced by the court.
