Marathwada region reported 450 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours

Aurangabad, Nov 27 (UNI) Eight districts of Maharashtra’s Marathwada region reported 450 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, health authorities said on Friday. The region also witnessed ten fatalities during the same period.



Details from all the district headquarters collected by UNI stated that out of the eight districts in the region,Beed was the worst affected with 74 fresh cases and 5 deaths, followed by Aurangabad with 157 new cases and 4 deaths,Hingoli 6 cases and one death,Latur 92 cases ,Jalna 36 cases, Nanded 35 cases, Osmanabad 28 cases and Parbhani 22 .


Meanwhile, 6,406 more corona cases and 65 deaths were reported across the state. With this, the state’s case tally reached 18.02 lakh with 16.68 lakh patients having cured so far.
According to the health officials, 46,813patients have so far succumbed to the disease in the state and 85963 patients were undergoing treatment.
