Min temp rises to 9 degrees in Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 18 (UNI) The minimum temperature in the capital on Monday increased to 9 degrees Celsius, two degrees above the normal, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The partly cloudy weather and prevailing easterly winds blowing in Delhi made it even colder. The maximum temperature is likely to settle around 17 degrees Celsius, the IMD said.

According to The System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the city’s air quality index was recorded at 380, which is considered very poor.
