Nagaland records 31 new COVID positive cases

Kohima, Jan 07 : Nagaland recorded 31 new COVID-19 cases, increasing the overall Coronavirus count in the state to 32,247, a state health bulletin said on Friday.

With a report of one death, the death count increased to 703.

According to the official bulletin, 31 new fresh COVID cases on Thursday in Nagaland with 30 cases in Dimapur alone, while one case in Kohima, taking the total caseload increased to 32,247.



Five more coronavirus patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours in Dimapur district.

The total number of people cured of the disease has gone up to 30,382, with the recovery rate now being 94.21 per cent on Thursday.

Nagaland now has 82 active COVID-19 cases, the bulletin said.
