Nineteenth Oxygen Express arrives in Karnataka

Bengaluru, May 30 (UNI) The Special Oxygen Express by the Indian Railways has reached Container Depot Whitefield, in the outskirts of the City on Sunday. This is 19th in the series and it carried 120 Tonnes Liquid Medical Oxygen by 6 Cryogenic Containers.

So far, Karnataka has received 2236.53 Tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen by Rail, according to a South Western Railway (SWR) release here on Sunday.

Indian Railways has so far run 305 Oxygen Expresses and transported more than 20,000 Tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen in 1237 tankers and brought relief to 15 states and helped in their fight against Covid -19.
