Prof. J P Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu honoured NEET Topper, Mr Tanmay Gupta

Prof. J P Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu honoured NEET Topper, Mr Tanmay Gupta during a Samman Samaroh organized by  Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Jammu. On this occasion trust honoured meritorious student NEET topper, Tanmay Gupta and presented a Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, a Momento and a Certificate for his highest percentage in the NEET Exam in 2021 conducted all over India. Prof J P Sharma was Chief Guest during the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Professor J P Sharma said that Tanmay Gupta has created history by working hard day and night. He further briefed that no matter how successful one becomes in his or her life, we should stick to our roots. Despite the challenges, don’t stop chasing your dreams. Vice Chancellor, Prof J P Sharma elaborated that we should believe in ourselves always and no matter what the situation is, we should not stop chasing our dreams because in the end we will definitely emerge. Professor Sharma wished Mr. Tanmay all the best for his future and hoped that he will achieves many more in times to come.

During the function, Mahant Rohit Shastri Trust president said that Tanmay Gupta, 18 year old hailing from Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, has created history by becoming the first from Jammu and Kashmir to be the national topper of NEET 2021. He scored the perfect 720 out of 720 marks and secured All India Rank 1st amongst more than 16 lakh students who appeared in national-level test on September 12th , 2021. Mahant Rohit shastri also congratulated Tanmays parents, Dr Akshay Gupta and Dr. Shivali Gupta for grooming him to this level and allowing him to spread his wings by getting him more competitive environment.
