The BSE Sensex on Thursday rallied by 449 pts to 50,111.05 as renewed buying was seen in Consumer Durable, IT, Industrials and Auto stocks.
The Nifty too moved up by 132.55 pts to 14,951.20.
The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 50,118.08 and 49,832.35 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 14,959.25 and 14,864.55
respectively.
The Mid Cap was up by 0.82 pc and Small Cap by 1.05 pc.
In 30 scrips 27 advanced while 3 declined.
The gainers were Tech Mahindra by 4.23 pc to Rs 1045.50, Titan by 2.19 pc to Rs 1547.05, HDFC by 1.82 pc to Rs 2526.90, Bajaj Finserv by 1.68 pc to Rs 9700 and TCS by 1.64 pc to Rs 3324.35.
The losers were Reliance Industries by 0.19 pc to Rs 1,999.05, Bajaj Auto by 0.18 pc to Rs 3679.65 and Bajaj finance by 0.13 pc to Rs 5070.
