Siddaramaiah squarely blames PM for delay in implementing Covid vaccination

Bengaluru, May 1(UNI) Blaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the delay in implementation of vaccination in the age group of 18-44 years, leader of the opposition and former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday alleged that ‘PM is a brand who fails on all of his premises.’

In a series of tweets, he said Mr Modi himself should have reappeared on television to request youngsters to pardon him & ask to wait for a few more days to get vaccinated. Instead he is letting States to take the responsibility.

Was the Prime Minister not aware that the state government was not prepared to vaccinate 18 to 44 year olds? Hasn’t this been discussed at a meeting of the Chief Ministers? Siddaramaiah demanded an apology by appearing on TV, saying the truth.

People have to register their name online to get the vaccine. This online registration is a difficult task for rural people, so the vaccination of the coronavirus as a polio vaccine is a campaign, and the people should be vaccinated, he urged.

The ever-increasing coronavirus infection is on the rise and the government has failed to prevent this. Let the leaders make a sincere effort to prevent coronavirus infection or to leave office. Siddaramaiah sparkles that innocent people should not fall victim for the government’s inefficiency and corruption, he alleged.
