New Delhi, Sep 10 (UNI) Singapore envoy Simon Wong Wie Kuen on Thursday presented his Letter of Credence to President Ram Nath Kovind in a virtual ceremony. Accepting the Letter of Credence, Mr Kovind congratulated the Singapore government on the successful conduct of general elections recently and noted that bilateral relations between India and Singapore have deepened.
The President also thanked Singapore for its strong support to India at multi-lateral forums, including the UN Security Council, an official release here said.
He noted that mutual cooperation during the Covid-19 pandemic has further strengthened existing ties of friendship and trust between both countries.
