SKUAST- J conducts CET-2022 for admission to PG Programmes

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) today conducted Common Entrance Test-2022 (CET) for admission to eight professional postgraduate degree programmes in different faculties for the academic session 2022-23.

The entrance examination was held at SKUAST-Jammu Main Campus Chatha. Prof. J. P. Sharma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu visited the center to oversee the conduct of the entrance examination. An overwhelming response was received for admission to various
professional postgraduate programmes in the university namely agricultural sciences, basic sciences, forestry, sericulture, veterinary sciences, agricultural engineering, biotechnology and fisheries. 478 candidates have applied in SKUAST-J CET-2022, out of which 395 appeared in the test which comes to 82 per cent of the total applicants. Out of 478 candidates, 354 appeared for agricultural sciences and 97 for veterinary sciences. The test was conducted smoothly with appreciable support of faculty and staff of SKUAST-Jammu. The SOPs and guidelines related to Covid-19 pandemic were adhered to during the test. SKUAST-Jammu Examination Cell. The university will also upload the answer key on the university website. Besides, result, schedule of the counseling and other updates shall also be available on the university website www.skuast.org.
