State shrines open for devotees in HP with SoPs

Shimla, Jul 1 : Amid strict enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), gates of all religious places and shrines has been closed in the month of April this year with increasing COVID-19 cases during the 2nd wave, have now been opened for the devotees from Thursday.
Notifications were issued by Deputy Magistrates separately in all the 12 districts directing the temple management to strictly ensure SOPs which include mandatory wearing of masks, maintaining social distancing inside the shrines, no entry into sanctum sanctorum or garav Griha and no offerings barring the cash in the donation boxes.
Medical officers would be deployed near the shrines and every devotee could enter in the religious places
with entry in the registers and thermal scanning. If any of the devotees would found with symptoms of flu and ILI, he/she would be scanned by the medical officers.
