Srinagar, Sep 17 : Water supply will remain affected for two days from Friday in over two dozen areas in Srinagar and Pulwama districts, a Jal Shakti official said.
In order to carry out repair works of power supply line at Tangnar (master plan) system, water supply will remain affected on Friday and Saturday, he told UNI.
He said areas which will be affected included Natipora, Batwara, Shivpora, Somerbugh, Shalimar, Lasjan, Soiteng, Kanihama, Pahroo, Wagoora, Sutsoo, Chattergam, Magraypora, Dooniwari, Nowgam, Faizabad colony, Basharat colony, Kanipora, Shankerpora, Tengan, Khanda, Metha, Khonmoh, Zewan, Sempora, Pampore, Zawoora, Pantha Chowk, Balhama, Wuyan and Zafran colony.
He said people of these areas were requested to take adequate measures to store potable drinking water. However, in case of any emergency Jal Shakti office should be contacted.
