The Union Home Ministry announced the awards for the best officers investigating criminal and other corruption related cases across the country. In this, only Inspector Vikram Sharma of Jammu and Kashmir Anti Corruption Bureau has received the highest award.In this, only Inspector Vikram Sharma of Jammu and Kashmir Anti Corruption Bureau has received the highest award. In ACB, Vikram is known for his speedy investigations. This can be gauged from the fact that Vikram had investigated the separate cases of the three officers taking red handed bribes in just 20 days.
The list of awards is sent every year by the Anti Corruption Bureau. In this, information about the overall performance of the investigating officers is sent. This time the Union Home Ministry chose Vikram’s name. Vikram says that he investigates every single case.He is happy that the Union Home Ministry gave him this award. For this, the leadership of the Anti Corruption Bureau is also important. Without which it is not possible to do anything. Inspector Vikram Sharma is a 2000 batch sub-inspector. His first posting was as a Sub Inspector in Doda district. In the year 2015, he reached the Anti Corruption as Inspector. Whereas in 2012 he became Sub Inspector to Inspector. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Jammu University.
