Sher-e-Kashmir university of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu accorded warm farewell to its retiring Officers/Scientist/Professors in a retirement function organized at Baba Jitto Auditorium at SKUAST-J chatha. Prof J P Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion. During the function Prof D P Abrol, Dean Faculty of Agriculture, Fellow National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) and India and Royal Entomological Society London, UK, Dr M M S Zama, Professor, Division of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology and Ex- Dean Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Dr Raman Tagar, Professor and Head, Division of Genetics and Breeding FVSc & AH, R S Pura and Dr Virender Singh Wazir, Professor, Division of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, SKUAST-J R S Pura were felicitated for contribution in their respected field. The function was also attended by Dr Jag Paul Director Research and Registrar, Dr S K Gupta, Director Extension, Dr S K Gupta, Director Education, Deans of all the tree faculties namely Agriculture, FVSc & AH and Basic Sciences, Dean Student Welfare, Estates officer, Heads of the Division, Research Stations, Mega Seed Projects, Sr Scientist and Heads of KVK’s, Teaching faculty, non-teaching staff and students of SKUAST-J.
