Speaking at the event, Mr. Nealesh Dalal, Managing Trustee of JD Educational Trust, expressed his
admiration and pride: “Fashion and jewellery design today go far beyond surface aesthetics—they
embody self-expression, cultural storytelling, and social responsibility. At the JD Design Awards
2025, we witness young designers not just making garments and accessories but shaping
movements. They are using fabric and form, metal and memory, to ask deeper questions and offer
bold answers. This is where design becomes dialogue, and where purpose meets creativity.”
JD Design Awards announced the launch of a new category for 2026—the Digital Design
Experience. This initiative will embrace the future of multimedia storytelling and will include
pioneering works in VFX, Animation, Web and Immersive Design. With this addition, the
awards are set to become an even broader platform for emerging creatives working across
physical and digital mediums.
The JD Design Awards 2025 concluded with a resounding message: creativity in India is thriving,
conscious, and ready to lead. In every stitch, in every sketch, and in every story told on the runway,
the designers redefined what it means to create with heart, vision, and impact. This was not just a
