- Over 6.76 lakh people gave up their Indian citizenship between 2015 and 2019, the government informed the Lok Sabha in response to a query.
- Rajya Sabha on Tuesday passed the National Capital Territory of Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Second (Amendment) Bill, 2021, that provides protection to certain unauthorised developments in Delhi from punitive action where adequate measures are yet to be taken.
