The Lok Sabha on Thursday passed the Supplementary Demands for Grants -Second Batch for 2020-2021 by voice vote.
Replying to the debate, Minister of State for Finance Anurag Singh Thakur said the government is constantly working to grow the country’s economy. He said due to the steps taken to strengthen the country’s economy during the Corona pandemic, the country’s economy is being strengthened.

The Minister said that due to the efforts of the government, a GST of more than one lakh crore rupees has been collected during the last few months.

He said similarly, effective steps have been taken on all fronts to strengthen the economy and efforts have been made to strengthen the economic situation.

The Minister said the economic package that the government brought during the Corona pandemic proved to be important for the economy and resulted in putting the country’s economy back on track.
