Lucknow, Aug 27 (UNI) Opposing holding of NEET and JEE examinations, the Samajwadi Party (SP) workers protested outside the Raj Bhawan in Lucknow on Thursday.
The SP workers were demanding that the competitive exams not be held in view of COVID-19. While agitating , they had an altercation with the police, following which the cops used mild force to disperse them.
The SP president has been constantly opposing the government’s decision to hold the JEE and NEET exams. He argues that the candidates who take part in competitive examinations may be exposed to coronavirus infection which will have a direct impact on their family and elders of the household.
