Rupee falls 2 paise against USD

Mumbai, July 20 : The Rupee on Wednesday fell marginally by two paise at 79.96 against the USD in opening trade on rising demand for the greenback by bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said. The local unit was seen weak in early trade owing to strong Dollar against other world currencies amid strong opening in stock market.

Rupee ends strong at 74.18 against USD

Mumbai, Aug 4 : The Rupee remained firm for another day on Wednesday, as it surged by ten paise to close at 74.18 against the USD on brisk selling of the greenback by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.

Rupee falls 2 paise against USD

Mumbai, Jul 26 : The Rupee on Monday declined by two paise at 74.42 in early trade on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said. The local unit was seen weak owing to strong dollar against other world currencies amid strong opening in stock market. The Rupee registered the days high and low at 74.45 and 74.40 respectively.

Rupee down 87 paise against USD

Mumbai, Mar 30 (UNI) The Rupee on Tuesday slid by 87 paise to close negative at 73.38 against the US Dollar on rising demand for the US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said. In early trade, the domestic unit fell by 27 paise to 72.78. Later, it further lost by 87 paise to close negative at 73.38 as compared to its last close. The Rupee registered days high and low at 73.42 and 72.75 respectively.

Rupee up 14 paise against USD

Mumbai, Mar 26 (UNI) The Rupee on Friday rose by 14 paise at 72.48 against the US Dollar on fresh selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said. The local unit rebound in the opening session on weak Dollar against other world currencies amid rebounding equity market. The Rupee registered days high and low at 72.52 and 72.45 respectively.

Rupee down 9 paise against USD

Mumbai, Feb 25 (UNI) The Rupee on Thursday slipped by 9 paise to settle at 72.41 against the US Dollar on rising demand the US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said. In opening session, the local unit fell by 11 paise. It remained under pressure and ended negative at 72.41, sliding by 9 paise as compared to its previous close. The Rupee registered days high and low at 72.45 and 72.38 respectively.
