Official sources said that the sleuths of Crime Branch carried out raids at Lawaypora, Rainawara, HMT in Srinagar, Bohipora in Kupwara, New Light Colony, Botingoo in Sopore, Baramulla.

Baramulla, Aug 3 : A senior Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader D K Nehru died of massive heart attack on Tuesday in this north Kashmir district, officials said. Nehru suffered a massive heart attack in his house at village Panzla Rafiabad in Baramulla Monday evening. He was immediately rushed to District Hospital Baramulla.

Baramulla, Jul 28 : Suspected militants on Wednesday evening hurled a hand grenade towards a police party in apple township of Sopore in this north Kashmir, official sources said. They said a grenade was lobbed by suspected militants towards a Police Patrol Party at Rafiabad, Sopore. However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded at a distance without causing any damage. Panic gripped the densely populated area after the grenade blast, sound of which was heard in adjoining villages also.
