Jammu, Sep 5 : Army on specific inputs on Sunday launched cordon and search operation in the bordering Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Based on specific inputs about movement of terrorists in the district, Army troops assisted by Police, Special Operation Group, Para Military forces, this morning launched CASO.

Jammu, Aug 13 : Security forces on Friday morning launched cordon and search operation in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police said that acting on specific inputs, joint teams of police, Army and para military troops, launched CASO in Bhallesa belt of the district in early morning.

Srinagar, Aug 3 : A top Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant, a Pakistani national, was killed in an encounter with security forces in north Kashmir district of Bandipora on Tuesday. Srinagar, Jul 28 : Security forces on Wednesday arrested a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant along with arms and ammunition in south Kashmir district of Pulwama. Official sources said that following specific information about presence of militants, a joint Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched by police, 50 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and 185 battalion of CRPF in the wee hours on Wednesday at Shar Shali Khrew in Pulwama.
