New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), which monitors water quality of Yamuna river and drains discharging into the river, has issued directions to Delhi Jal Board to submit a time-bound action plan to ensure compliance to norms by Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) so that no untreated sewage is discharged in to these drains.
Delhi reels under ‘poor’ air
New Delhi, Oct 28 (UNI) National Capital on Wednesday morning reeled under 'poor' air with the Air Quality Index being recorded at 270 around 1000 hrs, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.
The air quality around the NCR region was also on an average poor this morning as stubble burning continued to add on to the people's woes on the onset of the winters.
