Chandigarh/Ludhiana, Sep 5 : In a momentous feat, Ludhiana has achieved highest ever vaccination in a single day with 131993 lakh doses given across district on Sunday. Lauding the untiring and determined efforts of the healthcare workers in recording highest single day vaccination, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that this will further strengthen the fight against the deadly Coronavirus.

New Delhi, Dec 4 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that Corona vaccine will be ready in the next few weeks and vaccination programme will start soon after. Mr Modi said that the price of corona vaccine will be determined on the basis of consultation with the states keeping public health as topmost priority.

New Delhi, Dec 4 (UNI) Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has approved Phase III human trial of pharmaceutical company Zydus Cadila for the the Corona vaccine.The company informed on Friday that the third phase of human trials for its Corona vaccine will begin this month. This test will be done at 20 to 25 centres across the country.
