Panaji, May 17 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday congratulated Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for developing 2-DG anti COVID drug in collaboration with Dr Reddy's Laboratories and termed it a significant milestone for India in the fight against Covid 19. In a tweet, he said,''A significant milestone for India in the fight against #COVID19. Congratulation to the @DRDO_India team who have developed the 2-DG anti COVID drug in collaboration with Dr Reddy's Laboratories.''

Visakhapatnam, May 4 (UNI) Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), which also been actively doing its bit towards India’s anti-COVID-19 efforts, has contributed Rs 10 Lakh from its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)for setting up a dedicated 500-bed COVID hospital in Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh. The second wave of the COVID-19 has hit the entire country and it is battling against the deadly virus.

New Delhi, Apr 5 (UNI) The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has developed an advanced chaff technology to safeguard naval ships against enemy missile attack. Defence laboratory Jodhpur (DLJ), a DRDO laboratory, has indigenously developed three variants of this critical technology -- Short Range Chaff Rocket (SRCR), Medium Range Chaff Rocket (MRCR) and Long Range Chaff Rocket (LRCR) -- meeting Indian Navy's qualitative requirements, Ministry of Defence said in a statement on Monday.
