Srinagar, Oct 25 : Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh on Monday sanctioned a merit scholarship worth Rs 16.11 lakh in favour of 242 wards of serving police personnel of Jammu and Kashmir. A police spokesman said, encouraging and appreciating the hard work of the wards of Police personnel who have excelled in class 12th annual examination during the academic session 2020-2021, the DGP sanctioned meritorious scholarships of over rupees 16.11 lakh in favour of 242 wards of serving police personnel.

Srinagar, Sep 30 : Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh has sanctioned a retirement gift of Rs 60 lakh in favour of 80 Police personnel of J&K Police who retired from active services today after attaining superannuation or on voluntary retirement. A police spokesman said retirement gift has been sanctioned in favour of 80 police personnel which include five gazetted officers, forty-nine non gazetted officers, nineteen lower subordinates, and seven followers. These personnel belong to different units and wings of the department.

Srinagar, Jul 23 : Director General of Police (DGP), J&K, Dilbag Singh on Friday sanctioned meritorious scholarship and special reward of Rs 14.60 lakh in favour of 294 wards of serving police personnel in the Union Territory. A police spokesperson said that the scholarships and rewards were given with an aim to promote the merit and instill the spirit of competition among the wards of Police personnel.
