Srinagar, Jul 23 : Director General of Police (DGP), J&K, Dilbag Singh on Friday sanctioned meritorious scholarship and special reward of Rs 14.60 lakh in favour of 294 wards of serving police personnel in the Union Territory.
A police spokesperson said that the scholarships and rewards were given with an aim to promote the merit and instill the spirit of competition among the wards of Police personnel.
