Dr Bhav Kumar Sinha, PI of the project, delivered a talk on “How to prepare pits near the tree trunk for treatment in Mango orchards” and gives training for orchard management. Farmer Mr. Baldev Raj discussed his experiences and benefits of the treatment of paclobutrazol in the mango orchard.
SKUAST-JAMMU ORGANIZES TRAINNG ON ALTERNATE BEARING OF MANGO FOR FARMERS
Jammu, September 28 ; One day training programme entitled “Transfer of Technology for Management of Alternate Bearing Problem through Hormonal Intervention in Mango Varieties at Jammu Region” was organized at Sungal lower B, Villi - nalli basti, Sungal, P. O. Lehar, Distt - Jammu, Tehsil – Akhnoor by NABARD Jammu and Division of Plant Physiology, Faculty of Basic sciences under the aegis of SKUAST – Jammu. In this training, farmers from villages Sungal and nearby, participated. Mr Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, AGM(DDM-R), NABARD – Jammu and Kashmir delivered a lecture on various programmes launched by NABARD in favour of farmers.
