Gujarat govt awards indigenous supercomputer ‘Param Shavak’ to Marwadi University

New Delhi, Oct 6 (UNI) In an effort to boost the education infrastructure in the state and the country, Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST) of Gujarat Government, has conferred Marwadi University with supercomputer 'Param', the varsity said on Tuesday. With this, Marwadi University (MU) is amongst only a handful of Universities in the state to have the facility of supercomputers.

Hyderabad, Sep 28 (UNI) National Students' Union of India (NSUI) and Polytechnic College students on Monday held a dharna at the Technological Bhavan in Masab Tank here demanding the government to promote them in the examination in the same way as the Intermediate students were promoted. They expressed unhappiness for writing the examination during COVID by risking their lives. Before holding dharna, a tense situation prevailed when the NSUI leaders attempted to siege the Technological Bhavan, where police prevented them. Schools reopen after 6 months

New Delhi, Sep 21 (UNI) Afer a six-month hiatus, schools across the country reopened partially on Monday with students of Classes IX to XII on a voluntary basis for taking guidance from teachers. As part of Unlock 4, the government has permitted partial reopening of schools for students from Classes 9 to 12 on a voluntary basis for taking guidance from teachers.
