Bypoll dates declared for 56 Assy seats in 11 states, 1...

New Delhi, Sep 29 (UNI) The Election Commission on Tuesday announced that by-elections to 54 Assembly seats in 10 states will be held on November 3, while bypolls to one Lok Sabha seat in Bihar and two Assembly seats in Manipur will be held on November 7 and counting will take place on November 10. The Commission said that due to the local conditions arising out of COVID-19, there will be no by-elections for two Assembly seats each in Assam, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, and one in West Bengal.
