Rupee up 14 paise against USD

Mumbai, Oct 29 : The Rupee on Friday advanced by 14 paise at 74.78 in opening session on brisk selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said. The Rupee registered the days high and low at 74.74 and 74.82 respectively. The domestic unit was seen firm on weak Dollar against other world currencies amid weak equity market in opening session, dealers added.

Rupee improves 4 Paise against USD

Mumbai, Oct 12 (UNI) The Rupee was slightly improved by four paise at 75.32 against the greenback in the opening session on selling of USD Dollar by bankers and exporters in early trade on Tuesday, dealers at the Forex Market said. The local unit crossed 75 level, closed at 75.36, sliding 36 paise, 15 month low on Monday. The Rupee registered days high and low at 75.40 and 75.30 respectively.

Rupee ends strong at 74.18 against USD

Mumbai, Aug 4 : The Rupee remained firm for another day on Wednesday, as it surged by ten paise to close at 74.18 against the USD on brisk selling of the greenback by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.

Rupee rises 4 paise against USD

Rupee falls 2 paise against USD

Mumbai, Jul 26 : The Rupee on Monday declined by two paise at 74.42 in early trade on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said. The local unit was seen weak owing to strong dollar against other world currencies amid strong opening in stock market. The Rupee registered the days high and low at 74.45 and 74.40 respectively.

Rupee ends strong at 73.51 against USD

Mumbai, May 7 (UNI) The Rupee on Friday rallied 24 paise to close strong at 73.51 against the USD on brisk selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said. In opening session, the local unit rose by nine paise to 73.66 against the greenback. Till the end of the session, it surged 24 paise to finish strong at 73.51 as compared to its previous close. The local unit registered days high and low at 73.68 and 73.48 respectively. The Rupee spurted owing to weak dollar against other world currencies amid strong equity market, dealers added.

Rupee ends strong at 74.71 against USD

Mumbai, Apr 26 (UNI) The Rupee on Monday registered a strong gain of 30 paisa to close firm at 74.71 against the US Dollar on buying of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said. In opening trade, the domestic unit advanced 20 paisa to 74.81 against the green back. Till the end of the session, it surged 30 paisa to finish at 74.71 as compared to its previous close.

Rupee down 87 paise against USD

Mumbai, Mar 30 (UNI) The Rupee on Tuesday slid by 87 paise to close negative at 73.38 against the US Dollar on rising demand for the US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said. In early trade, the domestic unit fell by 27 paise to 72.78. Later, it further lost by 87 paise to close negative at 73.38 as compared to its last close. The Rupee registered days high and low at 73.42 and 72.75 respectively.

Rupee advances 64 paise against USD

Mumbai, Mar 3 (UNI) Erasing Tuesday losses, the Rupee on Wednesday posted a massive gain of 64 paise to finish at 72.71 against the US Dollar on fresh buying US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said. The local unit that went up 23 paise to 73.12 in opening trade, advanced by 64 paise to close at 72.71 as as compared to its last close. The Rupee registered days high and low at 73.17 and 72.68 respectively. The domestic unit bounced back on weak dollar against other world currencies amid strong equity market, they added.

Rupee down 9 paise against USD

Mumbai, Feb 25 (UNI) The Rupee on Thursday slipped by 9 paise to settle at 72.41 against the US Dollar on rising demand the US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said. In opening session, the local unit fell by 11 paise. It remained under pressure and ended negative at 72.41, sliding by 9 paise as compared to its previous close. The Rupee registered days high and low at 72.45 and 72.38 respectively.
