Faridabad, April 29: In a bid to provide relief to the parents from financial problems, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the state government will implement a policy to prevent private schools from selling books to students arbitrarily. Under the new policy, the rates will be fixed along with the quality of the pages and paper of the books. Also, information will be given to the general public by making lists of books with prescribed rates at the state level, he added.

Gurugram, April 21 : Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday said that during summers the demand for electricity increases unexpectedly, hence it is apparent that there is a shortage of power supply, although, the state government is trying its level best to overcome this power shortage. The Chief Minister shared that talks have been held with the companies providing electricity and a meeting in this regard would soon be held with the power companies and he is hopeful that the problem of power shortage would soon be resolved. He stated this during a media interaction after presiding over the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee meeting held here. Responding to the law and order questions, Khattar said that the law and order situation in Gurugram is good and the Police is ensuring resolving the incidents in a very short span of time.
