SKUAST-J inks MoU with IPB University, Indonesia

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu (SKUAST- J) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IPB University, Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. The MoU was signed virtually between Vice Chancellor of SKUAST- Jammu, Prof J P Sharma and Rector, Prof. Arif Satria on behalf of IPB University. The IPB University is a Public Higher Education Institution established in 1963. The MoU has been conducted with the objective to fostering academic and the development of education programs between two universities. Both the institutes agree to develop the various collaborative activities in academic, scientific and development programs of mutual interest. It is also agreed to accept each other’s undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students into their degree programmes for the duration of one academic year or semester. The MoU shall promote the academics and scientific research, trainings, internships, etc of common interests for both the institutes. Dr Pardeep Wali, Director Research; Dr S K Gupta, Registrar; Dr. Jyoti Kachroo, Director Planning and Monitoring and Dr Bharat Bhushan, Joint Registrar, Academics were associated in conducting the MoU.

The plane maker saw its best-selling aircraft being grounded globally after a deadly crash in March 2019 involving an Ethiopian Airlines 737 Max.
