Karnataka mulls green pass for vaccinated

Bengaluru, Jan 8 : Amid rising Covid cases, the state government is considering issuing green passes to identify fully-vaccinated citizens, Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar said on Saturday.

Wellington, Sep 21 (UNI/Xinhua) New Zealand reported 14 new Delta cases on Tuesday as its largest city Auckland will relax restrictions from midnight by moving to COVID-19 Alert Level 3 for at least two weeks. Tuesday's new COVID-19 infections, all recorded in Auckland and its suburb, brought the total number of confirmed cases in the country's community outbreak to 1,085, Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield told a press conference.

Additional mental health support in Australian capital amid COVID lockdown

Canberra, Sep 21 (UNI/Xinhua) Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Andrew Barr on Tuesday announced increased support for mental health services amid the region's ongoing lockdown. Barr said the ACT government would invest an additional 14 million Australian dollars (10.2 million US dollars) to support mental health, alcohol and drug services in the area of capital Canberra.

Covid: Administration announces some relaxation in in Mysuru & Kodagu

COVID-19: Delhi lockdown extended till May 24

New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday announced the extension of COVID-19 lockdown in the National Capital for one more week. Mr Kejriwal told mediapersons that the Delhi government is extending the COVID-19 lockdown for one more week in the city adding that the instead of tomorrow, lockdown is being extended till May 24, 0500 hrs in the National Capital.

New Delhi, May 5 (UNI) Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said the Delhi government will continue the lockdown based on the situation of the COVID-19 cases in the city. After visiting a vaccination centre at Radha Soami Satsang Beas in Rajendra Nagar to review the vaccination drive, Mr Kejriwal said, 'We will continue the lockdown based on the situation of the COVID-19 cases in Delhi.'
