Srinagar, May 25 : Peoples Democratic Party leader Waheed Parra who was jailed for alleged terror links, was granted bail on Wednesday, his counsel said on Wednesday. “Waheed Para was granted bail by HC. Order of trial court set aside. Had the onerous duty to lead his defence and argue his bail appeal. Waheed walks out after more than a year in custody,” Parra’s lawyer Shariq Reyaz said.

Srinagar, April 26 : A day after the Supreme Court agreed to hear the pleas challenging the Centre's decision to abrogate Jammu and Kashmir's special status, former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti hopes the apex court "stays not only revocation of Article 370 but also reverses all the illegal laws brought in".
