Mumbai, Jun 11 : The pharmaceutical packaging market valued at USD 1.4 billion dollars is expected to grow at a rate of 8.10 per cent CAGR during 2022-2027 and 7.54 per cent CAGR till 2030 and reach the market size of USD 3 billion, said an industry expert. “The pharmaceutical industry anticipates lucrative growth with the development of various drugs and medication, wherein it will obviously give a boost to the packaging industry," Yogesh Mudras, managing director, Informa Markets in India, said while addressing two-day Pharma Confex held on June 9 and 10.

Rupifi raises $25mn from Bessemer, Tiger Global

Mumbai, Jan 7 : Rupifi has raised a $25M Series-A round led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Tiger Global. Existing Investors Quona Capital and Ankur Capital also participated in this round, along with Better Capital. Founded in 2020 by Anubhav Jain, Ankit Singh and Jawaid Iqbal, this is Rupifi’s second investment round within a span of nine months, since its Pre-Series A in March 2021.

Bombay HC rejects ED plea on Jet Airways

Mumbai, Dec 21 (UNI) The Bombay High Court on Monday rejected the Enforcement Directorate( ED)’s plea, challenging the sessions court order of alleged cheating and criminal breach of trust registered against Jet Airways. In October, the sessions court rejected the ED’s application to intervene in the closure of the case against the cash-strapped airlines.

Mumbai, Oct 16 (UNI) Private sector lender Federal Bank has posted a decline of 25.84 per cent in its net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2020 at Rs 315.45 crores as against net profit of Rs 425.34 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as the bank stepped up provisions to deal with likely rise in slippages due to the economic impact caused by the Covid 19 pandemic.
