Ernakulam NIA Court convicts ISIS terrorist in Omar Al-Hindi module case

New Delhi, Sep 25 (UNI) The NIA Special Court at Ernakulam on Friday convicted an Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist under Sections 120B and 125 of IPC and Sections 20, 38 and 39 of UA (P) Act in ISIS Omar Al-Hindi Module case. The quantum of punishment would be pronounced on September 28, 2020.

NIA Special Court convicts two more in 2014 Burdwan blast case

New Delhi, Sep 15 (UNI) A Special NIA Court at Kolkata on Tuesday convicted two persons and sentenced them to imprisonment of seven years and penalized them in Burdwan Blast case of 2014, the probe agency official said here. The accused Mustafizzur Rehman alias Saqib and Kadar Kazi alias Kador were sentenced to seven years imprisonment with Rs 5000 fine to each under Section 120B, 125, of the IPC, Section 18, 18A, 18B, 19 and 20 of the UA (P) Act.
