Srinagar, Aug 10 : Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday congratulated Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav and said this should not be a mere formation of a government but a genuine start to bring secular and democratic forces together.

Srinagar, Aug 3 : Former chief minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday alleged that a former police officer, who was caught ferrying militants, was ‘let off’ while innocent Kashmiris rot in jails for years. “Innocent Kashmiris arrested under anti-terror laws rot in jails for years. For them, the trial becomes the punishment,” Ms Mufti wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.

Srinagar, Jul 6 : Announcing to boycott the Delimitation Commission set up to gather first-hand information to carve out new Assembly constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday said the whole exercise was unconstitutional and pre-planned to favour a particular political party.
