Srinagar, Nov 25 :A day after three militants, including a top commander of "The Resistance Front (TRF)" were killed, former Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday said "legitimate doubts are looming over its authenticity".

Srinagar, Oct 23 : Claiming that J&K has been thrown into chaos, former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday said that the Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit should have ideally been preceded by following upon Prime Minister’s assurances post the all party meeting in June this year.

Srinagar, Mar 30 (UNI) Claiming that her mother’s passport application was also rejected following adverse police report, former chief minister and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti alleged that the Centre was employing absurd methods to harass and punish her for not toeing their line. Ms Mehbooba said the CID has claimed that her mother, who is well into her seventies, is a ‘threat to national security’ and therefore doesn’t deserve a passport.

Srinagar, Mar 3 (UNI) Former chief minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti has approached the Jammu and Kashmir High Court (HC), seeking intervention in the issuance of her passport, which she alleged was not happening because of delay in police verification. Meanwhile, Regional Passport Officer (RPO), Srinagar, B B Nagar said his office processed the passport application of Ms Mehbooba within two days and are awaiting police verification as it is mandatory for issuance of the travel document.
