Siliguri, Sep 19 (UNI) The Border Security Force, guarding this north Bengal sector bordering with Bangladesh, has seized 3233 bottles of Phensedyl, 65 cattle heads, 17.3 kgs of Cannabis (Ganja) and other miscellaneous items from different bordering areas during anti-smuggling raids from September 16-18. The total value of seized items was Rs.11,77,589/-. The items were seized by BSF troops when smugglers were trying to smuggle these items from India to Bangladesh. Besides these, the BSF apprehended 1 Indian national namely Raju Sarkar (23) of Dakshin Dinajpur (WB) along with 100 bottles of Phensedyl, 01 Mobile Phone with Indian Airtel SIM, 01 Motor Cycle (Hero Honda Splendor), Indian urrency and Adhaar Card while he was trying to smuggle Phensedyl from India to Bangladesh. In another case, on 17 Sep the BSF apprehended 1 Indian national namely Rajjab Ali,Dakshin Dinajpur along with 172 bottles of Phensedyl worth Rs.29,187/- and 450 Nos of Buprenorphine Injection Rs.6,300/- while he was trying to smuggle Phensedyl & Buprenorphine from India to Bangladesh
