Shimla, Feb 5 (UNI) This capital town had the longest spell of snowfall in last 24 hrs as 57 cm fresh snowfall was recorded by the Met Office. Shimla Met Office said that town had 57 cm snowfall from 1730 to 0830 hrs which heaviest in past Money years in the Month of February. The high altitude sports center Shilaro received 55 cm snow, Khadrala 49cm, Sarahan 12 cm and Jubberhati six cm.

Shimla, Feb 4 (UNI) The high reaches of Himachal received snowfall disrupting the movement of traffic in the state. Superintendent of police Shimla Mr Mohit Chawla said that Tourist resort Narkanda had about six cm snowfall which is continued. Disrupting the vehicular traffic which was blocked by the snow completely.

Srinagar, Jan 23 (UNI) The summer capital, Srinagar, again turned white on Saturday due to fresh snowfall disrupting normal life though the minimum temperature recorded about four degree improvement while day the mercury witnessed a drop. Elsewhere in the Kashmir valley, including world famous ski resort of Gulmarg and health resort of Pahalgam, received heavy to very heavy snowfall disrupting road connectivity to far-flung and remote areas.
