Arvind meets Chief Secretary, discusses vaccination status

Jammu 9 July : Jammu and Kashmir, BJP, Secretary, Arvind Gupta, who has been nominated as Vaccination Incharge for liaison with the administration on behalf of the party, held a meeting with the Chief Secretary, Arun Kumar Mehta, at Srinagar. During this meeting, the progress of the ongoing vaccination exercise was discussed in length and the Chief Secretary shared the latest data with the BJP leader.

Choose between vaccine or ventilator, Director SKIMS

Srinagar, May 18 (UNI) Urging people to choose between vaccine or ventilator, Director S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Dr A G Ahangar on Tuesday said that mass vaccination is the ultimate weapon to fight the Covid-19 pandemic. Reiterating the do's and dont's for patient care as part of expert advice he emphasized need for Mass Vaccination Campaign which he termed the ultimate weapon to fight the deadly disease. "It is like fighting a " Third World War” by the medical fraternity and people at home rather than soldiers in the battle fields and we have to choose between vaccine or ventilator, vaccine or death , vaccine or famine.” He said in the emergence of deadly pandemic SKIMS has gained a strong foothold in the line of management and in dealing with Covid and non-Covid patients and is rendering valuable services to overall health sector.

Don’t politicise Covid-19 Vaccine: Pralhad Joshi

New Delhi, Jan 11 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that health workers, in government and private sector, and other frontline workers will be vaccinated first against the deadly Covid-19 viral disease and the cost of the vaccination for these three crore workers will be borne by the Central Government.
