Dhaka, Jul 28 : Five members of a family died in a landslide at Hnila in Teknaf Upazila area of Cox’s Bazar in the early hours of Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Shukkur, Jubair, Abdur Rahim, Kohinur and Jainba. All are the sons and daughters of Syed Alam, of village Para under Hlina union.
Rashed Mahmud Ali, Chairman of Hlina Union Parishad, confirmed the deaths to UNI. Teknaf Upazila Nirbahi Officer Parvez Chowdhury said they were informed about the incident and will take measure after reaching the spot.
