Germany first team to qualify for 2022 World Cup

Skopje, Oct 12 : Germany became the first team to qualify in the 2022 World Cup when it clinched first place in its qualifying group on Monday.
Germany pulverized North Macedonia 4-0 on a rainy night in Skopje and Romania defeated Armenia 1-0, which was required for the Germans to qualify.
A draw in the Romania-Armenia match would have also helped Germany to qualify. Germany avenged its shocking loss to North Macedonia in March.
Thomas Muller was in a commanding mood, who orchestrated the team for the entire match and his two assists nailed the opponents.
Timo Werner finally got a brace after missing far too many chances. Bayern’s Jamal Musiala completed the victory seven minutes before the end with his first international goal.
Germany will be making their 18th consecutive appearance and 20th overall appearance in the World Cup Finals.
Germany had a disappointing display in the 2018 Finals in Russia, but in 2022 WC hopes to finish well under former Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick and die Mannschaft.
